Minions: Xfinity In-store Promotion

With the upcoming release of Universal's Despicable Me sequel, Minions, Comcast planned to integrate communication across multiple channels to drive awareness and excitement of the movie leading up to its premiere.

Our assignment was to concept ways in which to integrate communication of the movie into XFINITY Stores and incorporate messaging around the new Voice Remote from XFINITY. With the use of property assets from Universal, we were able to develop several concepts and elements that effectively raised awareness of the new Voice Remote's capabilities and generated buzz for the upcoming film. In the weeks leading up to the Minions release, XFINITY stores were effectively taken over with Minions branded posters, signage, and other collateral. Plush toys were given away and several stores hosted events with Minions mascots, making the whole campaign a huge success.
